Jan Wulf van Alkemade
Jan Wulf van Alkemade has gained extensive experience within the Hospitality and Leisure industry, both as a supplier as well as a developer, and is also the creator of new hotel concepts such as the Hotel Des Indes in The Hague, The Victor in South Beach, Miami and citizenM, a value for money, luxury hotel concept.
Alongside this, he has also had a range of roles in the world of sport, primarily in the area of cricket. Jan Wulf van Alkemade is also an active participant within the arts’ world, via the gallery; White Space Amsterdam.
John de Die
John de Die has gained extensive managerial and financial experience with international companies, as CFO director with Kempen & Co. and at Geveke (both merged and delisted from the Stock Exchange in his term) and as CFO director with Rodamco Europe (now: Unibail-Rodamco). He began his career with ABN-AMRO Bank (investments, corporate finance) and also worked, for seven years, for KLM, where he ultimately headed Finance. John de Die currently is CFO-COO at AAC Capital partners (private equity spin-off from ABN AMRO) and is a supervisory board member of two international businesses.
Lex Douze
Lex Douze is principal and partner with Waterland Private Equity Investments B.V. Before, Lex was founder and manager of PaperX Ltd. (London, UK). PaperX was founded to create a global trading platform for the paper industry. Lex gained significant experience as entrepreneur and manager in dealing with private equity investors, the challenges of young fast-growing companies as well as formulating development strategies. Earlier in his career, he was strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group where he has done various European strategy studies in the sectors aviation and financial services. Lex Douze has an MBA degree from Harvard Business School in Boston (USA). He also graduated in computer science and in law at Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
